Arc Edit All
Tool summary :
- Automatically opens a window for multi-editing all arcs that are on shown comment layers in your current drawing.
- Shown comment layers are visible comment layers (comment layers marked " Show "). Since Arc Edit All works only on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude arcs that are on those layers from being edited.
- Since Arc Edit All operates exclusively on shown comment layers, the version of the Arc Edit window that opens using this tool is fully editable.
- Arc Edit All can help you to ensure that arcs are drawn consistently. When the Arc Edit window opens, you can easily identify mixed entries because they are grayed out . If you then, for example, change the " Pen color ," all arcs on shown comment layers will be assigned that same pen.
- The selection of objects that is made prior to using Arc Edit All does not affect the operation of the tool, nor does the tool affect the selection. For example, if you have clouds selected before you activate the tool, the clouds remain selected after Arc Edit All is done.
- To invoke Arc Edit All and edit all arcs that are on visible comment layers:
Method 1 : Click the Arc Edit All icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Arcs ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Arcs > Edit All .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Arc Edit All can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
