" Brace Reinforcement " connection design locks

VIDEO Values for HSS/TS vertical brace reinforcement plates are filled out automatically when " Seismic brace " is set to ' Yes ' or, with the appropriate setup, to ' Automatic '. (Recorded in SDS2 Detailing , v2016.)
  • " Plate length " is measured parallel with the supported vertical brace's workline.

" Brace Reinforcement " locks are automatically populated with appropriate non-zero values when " Seismic brace " is set to ' Yes '. To reinforce non-seismic HSS braces, the user of a full-featured SDS2 program can enter a " Plate thickness ."
