" Gusset Intersection " & " Brace Connection To Gusset " connection design locks

Angle horizontal braces field bolt to an intersection plate per " Gusset Intersection " and " Brace Connection To Gusset " locks. An erection bolt is provided for shop attaching the intersection plate to the supporting center brace. A " Stagger bolts " hole pattern is shown, but angle braces can have other hole patterns. The intersection plate's " Plate length " is parallel with the two supported horizontal braces.
