A " Gusset To Two Beams " gusset plate can be designed for an HSS horizontal brace to a beam-beam corner. The HSS brace is fitted with a built-up tee or other end fitting so that it can shop bolt to the gusset plate per " Brace Connection To Gusset Hss Bolted " locks. Depending on the framing situation, the gusset may field bolt directly to each beam's flange, or it may field bolt with clip angles to each beam's web. |
