" Gusset 2 Point Square " & " Brace Connection To Gusset " & " HB Conn2 "

A 2- or 3-point shared gusset plate that shop attaches to the web of a beam is designed per " Gusset 2 Point Square " locks. Angle horizontal braces field bolt to the gusset per " Brace Connection To Gusset " locks. ' Welded ' (shown) or ' Clip angle ' (not shown) may be selected as the " Gusset to beam connection ." A 3-point gusset plate must shop weld to the beam, whereas a 2-point gusset can optionally shop attach to the beam's web with a clip angle.
