A 2-point gusset for wide flange or W tee or double-angle horizontal braces is designed per " Gusset 2 Point Square " locks when the brace's " Clip end operation " is set to ' No ' or, possibly, to ' Automatic '. The gusset can be ' Welded ' (" HB Conn2 "), or attached to the beam with a ' Clip angle ' (not shown) depending on the choice made to " Gusset to beam connection ." 3-point gusset plates cannot be bolted to a beam's web with a clip angle. |
