" Gusset Beam Column " & " Weld Conn2 " connection design locks

A gusset plate for an HSS, pipe or tube vertical brace to a beam & column can be designed for any " Pipe/tube end-fitting ." For ' Welded ' fittings, 0 or 1 or 2 holes are centered on the workline (not shown).

" Weld Conn2 " (" Gusset to supporting member " = ' Welded ')	In these examples, the gusset plate field bolts to the column with a clip angle If the beam connects to the column with a shear plate, the gusset also connects with a shear plate , not a clip angle. If it connects with an end plate, the gusset connects with an end plate .
