" Top Moment Plate " & " Bottom Moment Plate " connection design locks

" Welded ' moment stiffener plates to a column web can be designed per " Top/Bottom Moment Plate " locks when the " Input connection type " is ' Shear ' and the beam frames to a column web.

(W beam to W column web, welded moment connection)
(" Input connection type " = ' Shear ' or ' User defined ')
(" Moment type " = ' Welded ')
" Top Moment Plate " / " Bottom Moment Plate "

Please note : The program originally designs the top moment siffener plate to match the bottom moment stiffener plate. Unlike a bolted " Top/Bottom Moment Plate , " users of a full-featured SDS2 program can change each of these stiffener plates independently.
