A welded tee end fitting shop welds to an HSS, pipe or tube vertical brace when ' Bolted ' is selected as the brace's " Pipe/tube end-fitting ." Design of the welded tee and field bolting of the fitting to a gusset plate for a beam & column is done per " Brace Connection To Gusset Hss Bolted " locks. Each welded tee consists of a stem plate and a cap plate .
