Connection Cube Add

Adds a connection cube to represent a structural node using member ends or connection components that you select.
While in Modeling , you can invoke Connection Cube Add by clicking its icon, or use a keyboard shortcut . For Ribbon Editor or Keyboard Shortcut Editor in the lightning interface, the Connection Cube Add icon or keyboard shortcut can be found in the ' Model -- Connection Cubes ' command group.
Before invoking Connection Cube Add , the display of " Connection Cubes " should be turned on in Display Options .
Preselection method for adding: 1 ) In Modeling , select member ends and/or connection components to which you want to add a connection cube ( selection filter = Connection Components ' or ' Member Ends ' or ' Default '). 2 ) Invoke Connection Cube Add . 3 ) Right click and select " OK " from the context menu.
If you use in-tool selection -- that is, select the ends and components after invoking Connection Cube Add -- only member ends and connection components will be selectable.
You can, if you wish, remove connection cubes that you have added by selecting them in the 3D model or in the Model Tree (" View by " = ' Connection Cubes ') and pressing the Delete key. Tip: Setting the selection filter to ' Connection Cubes ' makes selecting them easier.
