Advanced End Plate Standard Piecemark Options
This window lets you assign piecemarks to a non-moment end plate that has a ' Safety-notch ' connection. " OK " " Cancel " " Reset "
- To open this window, press the
button at the end of a line on the End Plate Standard Piecemark Options window.
Cope width: A distance (in the primary dimension " Units " or other units ). The width of the cope is measured parallel to the " Width " of the end plate.

Piecemarking: Entries made here are associated with the line on which you pressed the " More " button to open this window . If the description on that line and the " Cope width " and " Cope depth " on this window accurately describe an end plate in the model, that plate (or flat bar) will be assigned the " Piecemark " on that line.
Connection design: To get connection design to generate a cope on an end plate, set the end plate to have a ' Safety-notch ' connection. Connection design generates a " Cope width " that is equal to two times the " Horizontal edge distance " of the plate.
Cope depth: A distance (in the primary dimension " Units " or other units ). The depth of the cope is measured parallel to the " Length " of the end plate.

To close Advanced End Plate Standard Piecemark Options :
"OK" (or the Enter key) closes Advanced End Plate Standard Piecemark Options and activates the End Plate Standard Piecemark Options window.
Note: If you press " Cancel " on the End Plate Standard Piecemark Options window, changes made on this window are not applied.
"Cancel" (or the Esc key) closes this window without saving any changes made to it.
"Reset" undoes all changes made to this window since you first opened it. The window remains open.
