  • The rows in the staging list will now be highlighted on a mouse over.

2022.05

  • When running Autostack Angles, if no angles are detected in the project due to an incorrectly populated "SDS2_Load_Planning:Material_Type" property, a warning message will appear.

  • The "SDS2_Load_Planning:Material_Type" property will be populated if the value is available when a project from a prior release is opened.

  • EM11 files, exported from SDS2, will now have the "SDS2_Load_Planning:Material_Type" property correctly populated.

2022.04

  • Load Planning and Tekla PowerFab are now able to push and pull data on demand between SDS2 Load Planning and Tekla PowerFab (Formally named Tekla EPM or Fabsuite). Data pulled from Tekla PowerFab consists of Approval Status' and Lot Name. Data pushed to Tekla PowerFab consists of Load number, Trailer number and Planned Ship Date.
  • The ability to automatically stack bundles by selecting directly from the Staging View. This includes re-stacking when models are updated with a revision.

2022.01

  • Load Planning now checks to make sure the version of the file you're trying to open is appropriate for the version of Load Planning that is running. Files created in newer versions of Load Planning will not be able to be opened in older versions of Load Planning from this release on.

  • Load Planning supports both light and dark color themes. The new dark color mode shows light characters and icons on a dark background.

  • Icons have been simplified and designed to work with light and dark mode. Tool tips for toggles have been reduced to only the name of the tool and not the result of the selection

  • Bundles can be created or dismantled on a trailer load. This permits the transfer of one or more loadables from one trailer or bundle to another.

  • Reoriented loadables on dunnage will remain on the dunnage layer that they are reoriented on.

2022.00

  • Licensing for SDS2 programs is now internet-based and is administered in the cloud.

2021.05

  • A keyboard shortcut guide can now be launched at any time by pressing the ? key.

  • You can change the distance between the main parts of loadables that you snap together. The program will prevent projecting parts from clashing with the snapped loadables.

  • You can now Repeat Resting Orientation for multiple loadables at a time.

  • The IFC Update tool has been more appropriately named Update Model. By either name, it still updates the 3D model in your Load Planning project.

  • You may now choose a folder in which to store trailer definitions, or continue to use the default folder. If SDS2 Load Planning is newly installed, it stores trailer data in the AppData folder under your local user profile by default.
