Step-by-step instructions :
Toggle Stick/Solid can be used in Modeling to change the form of a member you click on. The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.
1 . Invoke Toggle Stick/Solid using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Toggle Stick/Solid icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' View -- Solids Mode ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose View > Toggle Stick/Solid .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Toggle Stick/Solid can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .
2 . Select - Pan - Menu mouse bindings become active.

3 . The form of the member is changed (from stick to solid transparent or from solid transparent to solid transparent main or from solid transparent main to solid opaque or from solid opaque to stick). The mouse bindings that were active before you invoked Toggle Stick/Solid are again active.
Note: Open ( Ctrl + o ) a different view. You will find (in that view) that the member whose form you changed in this view continues to be displayed in the form you changed it to.
