Step-by-step instructions :
A copy of graphic objects is made when you Copy or Cut or Copy with Reference Point or Cut with Reference Point . The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.
1 . Before using this tool:
1a : You need to have done a Copy or Cut or Copy with Reference Point or Cut with Reference Point operation in your current drawing or in another drawing.
1b : Confirm that the comment layer selected on the layer selection tool is the one you want. You can change it to a different comment layer if you like.
2 . Invoke Paste using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Paste icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Edit ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Edit > Paste .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Paste can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut ( Ctrl + v ), the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
Method 6 : In Select Items Mode , right-click ( Menu ) and choose " Paste " on the context menu .
3 . Locate- Pan -Return mouse bindings become active along with various Locate options. The status line prompts, " Paste: place reference point ." The group of objects most recently saved using Copy or Cut or etc. is shown on screen. A point location target identifies the reference point of the group of objects.

Alternative 1 : Select the Locate icon that you want (if it's not selected already). Place your mouse pointer (
) so the point location target snaps to where you want the group of object to be placed, then left-click ( Locate ) to place the group of objects on the selected comment layer . Tip: The pasted objects can be removed with Undo .
Alternative 2 : Right-click ( Return ) if you do not want to place the group of objects.
