VIDEO A void space with stiffeners is added to a beam web in a full-featured SDS2 program. Then the component is moved by right clicking and choosing " Move Component ." (Recorded in SDS2 Detailing , v2017.)

• Five layout configurations are available for adding a web penetration with stiffeners in a full-featured SDS2 program .

Layout 1 is an opening without stiffeners.

Layout 2 is horizontal stiffeners above and below the opening.

Layout 3 is full-depth vertical stiffeners to the left and right of the opening.

Layout 4 is partial-depth vertical stiffeners to the left and right of the opening along with horizontal stiffeners above and below the opening.

Layout 5 is full-depth vertical stiffeners to the left and right of the opening along with horizontal stiffeners above and below the opening.
