" Gusset One Member Perp " & " Brace Connection To Gusset " & " HB Conn2 "

The gusset for a W tee or wide flange or double-angle horizontal brace that is perpendicular to the beam it connects to is designed per " Gusset One Member Perp " locks. The brace bolts to the gusset per " Brace Connection To Gusset " locks. The " Gusset to beam connection " (' Welded ' or ' Clip angle ') is designed per " HB Conn2 " or " NS/FS Clip Conn2 " locks and sets whether the brace shop bolts or field bolts to the gusset.

" NS/FS Clip Conn2 " : Setting " Gusset to beam connection " to ' Clip angle ' field bolts the gusset plate to the web of the beam with a clip angle, and the brace shop bolts to the gusset plate.
