Step-by-step instructions :
You must be in Modeling and do either step 1a (preselection) or step 3 (in-tool selection) to perform this operation. Stick causes members that you select to be redrawn in stick form.
1 . Before using this tool:

1a (optional) : In Select Items mode with an appropriate selection filter selected, use Select or Select+ (or draw an area box or Select Members by Number ) to select the member(s) that you want to change to stick. When selected, the members will be displayed in the User and Site Options > Modeling > " Primary selection color ," which by default is green. Use Select- if you want to deselect members.
2 . Invoke Stick using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Stick icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' View -- Solids Mode ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose View > Stick .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Stick can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface . The default keyboard shortcut for Stick is s k .
Method 6 : In Solids Mode , middle-click ( Stick ).
3 . Skip this step if you already selected members in step 1a.

3a (if you didn't preselect) : The program prompts you to use Select Item(s) mouse bindings to Select and/or Select+ one or more members that you want to change to stick. You can also select the member(s) by drawing an area box or using the Model Tree . Press the Enter key or right-click ( Menu ) and choose " OK " on the menu when you are done selecting the member(s).
4 . The selected members are displayed in stick form. If you did step 1a, they continue to be selected -- that is, their stick member lines are highlighted in the User and Site Options > Modeling > " Primary selection color ."
Tip: When you Open ( Ctrl + o ) a different erection view, you will find that members displayed in stick in your current view are also displayed in stick in that other view.
