" Gusset One Member " & " Weld Conn2 " connection design locks

An angle, W tee or channel vertical brace field bolts directly to a gusset plate (" Gusset One Member ") that shop attaches to a column. The gusset's corner is clipped pependicular to the brace's workline due to " Clip end operation " being set to ' Yes ' or, possibly, to ' Automatic '. Gusset-to-column shop welding is per choices made to " Weld Conn2 ." If the column is perfectly vertical, the gusset's " Width " is measured horizontally.
