An HSS horizontal brace paddle plate shop bolts to a gusset plate at a beam-beam corner per " Brace Connection To Gusset Hss Paddle " locks. Depending on the framing situation, the gusset may field bolt directly to either beam's flange, or it may field bolt with clip angles to either beam's web. The paddle to gusset connection " Weld length " controls the length of the NS and FS notches in the HSS brace. Locks for spacers are available only for double paddle plates. |
