Step-by-step instructions :
Layer Hide Others can be used in the Drawing Editor to hide all layers except the layer that is selected on your layer selection tool .
1 . Before using this tool:
1a : On the layer selection tool , select the layer that you want to be shown while all other layers are hidden. Remember when making this selection that an SDS2 review station is only able to make changes to comment layers . It does not matter if the selected layer is currently shown or not shown.
2 . Invoke Layer Hide Others using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Layer Hide Others icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Layers ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Layers > Hide Others .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Layer Hide Others can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
Method 6 : With Layers Mode mouse bindings active, hold down the Ctrl key and right-click ( Hide Others ).
3 . The program hides all layers except the layer that is currently selected on the layer selection tool . This means that all objects on the newly hidden layers disappear. If the layer that is currently selected was hidden before this operation began, it now is shown.
