Weld Properties can be used to open a window that shows the custom properties of the one or multiple welds that you select. You must do either step 1b (preselection) or step 3 (in-tool selection) to select the welds.
1a : You need to be in Modeling , and members need to be displayed in a solid form . The display of " Welds " needs to be turned on in View > Display Options .

Select Items bindings (step 1b) 1b (optional) : In Select Items mode with the selection filter set to, for example, ' Welds ', use Select or Select+ (or draw an area box ) to select the weld(s) whose properties you want to review or change. Or you can use the Model Tree or Advanced Selection to select the welds.
2 . Invoke Weld Properties using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Weld Properties icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Model -- Weld ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Model > Weld > Properties .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Weld Properties can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .
3 (if required) . This step is required if you did not select welds in step 1b . No special selection filter is required to do this step. The program skips this step if you did select welds in step 1b.
