The Joist Edit window ( Modeling )

- Joists are assumed to be supplied by an outside manufacturer, not shop fabricated,

The navigation tree is contained in the left pane of the Joist Edit window. It makes navigating the window easier. Selecting a section name shows that section on the Joist Edit window. In the example at left, " Setbacks " is selected and, as a result, the " To resize the pane containing the navigation tree drag its right edge. " " |

To open the Joist Edit window :
- Model > Member > Add > Joist
- Double-click a joist
- Select a joist, right-click (Menu) choose " Edit " on the context menu .
- "Edit Other" to edit all members under one mark (highly recommended)
- Double-click joist [num] in Model Tree
- Edit Member (to edit one joist or all joists with the same piecemark)
- Edit multiple joists (only joists can be selected)
- Edit by Piecemark
- Edit by Member Number
- "Edit Member" button (on the Connection Component Edit window)
