Step-by-step instructions :

Job standard details are drawings that are maintained in your current Job . Global standard details can be Opened in any Job. Global standards are thus a permanent library of drawings that you can add to other drawings no matter what Job you are in. The Copy Job Standards to Global Standards utility lets you change copies of job standard details into global standard details . The number and names of job standard details currently in your Job do not change as a result of your using this utility.

1 . Start up Copy Job Standards to Global Standards using any one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Home > Utilities > Utility Functions . Then, on the Utility Functions menu, click " Copy Job Standards to Global Standards ."

Method 2 : In Modeling (classic) or the Drawing Editor , choose Utility > Copy Job Standards to Global Standards .

2 . A selection dialog opens. On it is a list of all job standard details in your current Job .

Note: If there are no job standard details in your current Job, you will be notified of such, and this operation will end without the selection dialog being opened.

Alternative 1 : Select the names of the job standard details that you want to be copied as global standard details, then press the " OK " button at the bottom of this selection dialog. Go to step 3.

Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to end the Copy Job Standards to Global Standards operation. Do not continue.

3 . The job standard details selected in step 2 continue to exist in your Job as job standard details and copies of these same job standard details are now global standard details . This means that any Job that you can change to in your current version of this program can use them.

Tip: Use the Project Items List utility to confirm that this change has indeed taken place.
