The Rebar Specification window ( Job Settings )

To open Rebar Specification: :
--- Double-click a listing on the Rebar Specifications window.

--- Select a listing on the Rebar Specifications window, then press the " Edit " button.

--- Press the " Add " button under the specifications list on the Rebar Specifications window.

  • Open this window from the Rebar Specifications window in order to modify which coatings and grades are associated with a particular specification that is listed on that window.

Description: The name that you want to be listed as a specification on the Rebar Specifications window. If you opened this window by pressing " Add " on the Rebar Specifications window, then the " Description " is blank, and it is required that you type a new description. If you opened this window by double-clicking a specification, then the " Description " will be the name you double-clicked. If you change the " Description ," your change will be shown on the Rebar Specifications window's list.

------ Grades ------

opens the list of steel grades that are stored on the Reinforcing Bar Grades window. You can select one or more of those grades to add them to the " Grades " list. If you need a grade that is not listed, you can add that grade to the Reinforcing Bar Grades window then try again.

deletes the steel grade that you have selected.

------ Coatings ------

opens the list of coatings that are stored on the Rebar Coatings window. You can select one or more of those coatings to add them to the " Coatings " list. If you need a coating that is not listed, you can add that coating to the Rebar Coatings window then try again.

deletes the coating that you have selected.

To close Rebar Specifications :

"OK" (or the Enter key) closes Rebar Specification and activates the Rebar Specifications window. If you changed the " Description " for the specification defined by this window, the list on the Rebar Specifications window will be updated to reflect your change.

Note 1: At least one grade must be entered to this window before you can close this window by pressing " OK ."

Note 2: If you press " Cancel " on the Rebar Specifications window, changes made on this window are not remembered.

"Cancel" (or the Esc key) closes this window without saving any changes made to it.

"Reset" undoes all changes made to this window since you first opened it. The window remains open.
