" Bent Plate " connection design locks

Bent plates can be bolted (shown) or welded (not shown) to the web of a beam and are designed per " Bent Plate " locks. A bent plate can attach to the near side, far side or both sides of the beam's web. " Vertical hole spacing " can be variable spacing.

These locks apply to bent plates that are ' Bolted ' to the ' Supporting ' or ' Bolted ' to the ' Supported ' or ' Welded ' to the ' Supported '. They apply when the bent plate(s) are set to be attached to the ' Near Side ' or to ' Both ' sides of the web of the beam. The locks are shown (visible) only when they apply.
