1 . Click the Previous Retained View icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be found on the Layout page > Navigate section.

Alternative: Invoke Previous Retained View using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the icon, which is pictured above.

2 . Your current view is now changed to the previous view retained in memory. The status line informs you which view you are on and how many views have been retained.

The status line tells you how many views have been retained and which of those views you are accessing.
To cycle through retained views in the opposite direction, you can use Next Retained View .

Current view location (changed by calling up a retained view)
Save View As (to make a retained view permanent)
Retain View (sets up Previous Retained View )
Next Retained View
Exit Modeling (causes retained views to be lost)
Open Drawing Editor File (causes retained views to be lost)
