------ Image preparation ------

Use HP-GL/2 print size (PS) command? - or .

This box should be checked ( ) for HP-GL/2 printers and some compatibles if you wish to adjust scaling in an SDS2 review station .

The box should be not checked ( ) for HP-GL printers and compatibles.

Reduction/enlargement scaling-factor (%): Any percentage between 0.00 and 999.99.

Your printer will scale your sheets by this amount. To plot sheets at the " Drawing scale " entered in an SDS2 review station , enter '100' to this field. A scaling factor of 50% will cause the print to be 1/4 the area it would be at 100%.

Page size (PCL printers only): 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17 or 8.5 x 14 or etc. This applies if the " Current printer " is a PCL laser printer. Otherwise this field is disabled (grayed out).

Select the page size that your laser printer uses. The sheet that you output will automatically be scaled to fit the paper size.

Page orientation (PCL printers only): Portrait or Landscape . This applies only if the " Current printer " is a PCL laser printer Otherwise this field is disabled (grayed out).

' Portrait ' should be selected when the long side of the sheet (as shown in the Drawing Editor ) is oriented vertically and you want the sheet to be printed in this same orientation.

' Landscape ' should be selected when the long side of the sheet (as shown in the Drawing Editor ) is oriented horizontally and you want the sheet to be printed in this same orientation.

Image transfer and/or storage encoding: None or 7-BIT or 8-BIT .

' None ' is the normal default.

' 7-BIT ' or ' 8-BIT ' are options for compressing data for faster transmission over a network.
