Hatch Edit All
Tool summary :
- Automatically opens a window for multi-editing all hatches or fills that are on shown comment layers in your current drawing.
- Shown comment layers are visible comment layers (comment layers marked " Show "). Since Hatch Edit All works only on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude hatches that are on those layers from being edited.
- Since Hatch Edit All operates exclusively on shown comment layers, the version of the Hatch Edit window that opens using this tool is fully editable.
- Hatch Edit All can help you to ensure that hatches or fills are drawn consistently. When the Hatch Edit window opens, you can easily identify mixed entries because they are grayed out . If you then, for example, change the " Font ," all hatches or fills on shown comment layers will be assigned that same font.
- The selection of objects that is made prior to using Hatch Edit All does not affect the operation of the tool, nor does the tool affect the selection. For example, if you have clouds selected before you activate the tool, the clouds remain selected after Hatch Edit All is done.
- To invoke Hatch Edit All and edit all hatches or fills that are on visible comment layers:
Method 1 : Click the Hatch Edit All icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Hatch ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Hatches > Edit All .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Hatch Edit All can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
