" Gusset 2 Point " & " Weld Conn2 " connection design locks
Angle, W tee or channel vertical braces field bolt directly to a shared gusset plate (" Gusset 2 Point ") that shop attaches to a beam. The gusset plate's corners are clipped pependicular to each brace's workline due to " Clip end operation " being set to ' Yes ' or, possibly, to ' Automatic '. This help page applies to 2-point bracing (shown) and 3-point bracing (not shown). Gusset-to-beam shop attachment is per choices made to " Weld Conn2 " or, for 2-point, " NS/FS Clip Conn2 ." |
