Embed Plate Multi-Add Tool ( Modeling )

Tool summary :

  • Lets you add embed plates to one or both ends of one or multiple beams. The beams do not have to frame to concrete.
  • The Embed Plate Multi-Add Tool can add embed plates that are predefined on the Embed Schedule , or you can enter settings for a new embed plate that is not on the schedule.
  • When you edit an embed plate that is added with this tool, the Embed Plate Edit window opens. Refer to help for that window to understand the options that are available on thewindow that opens when you use this tool.
  • Each embed plate that you add using this tool is member that is independent of the beam you selected when adding the embed plate.
  • To begin adding the embed plate member(s), you can click the Embed Plate Multi-Add Tool icon. The icon can be found in the command group ' Model -- Parametric ' for Toolbar Configuration (classic) or Ribbon Editor (lightning).

  • Embed angles and channels cannot be added using the Embed Plate Multi-Add Tool . To add embed plates or channels, you can use the Embed Layout Add Tool . The various ways to add an angle, plate or channel embed member to the model are described here .
