Delete Context Menus ( Utility Functions , for ' Lightning ' )

The Delete Context Menus utility can be used to delete context menu configuration files. Such a file can be assigned to a role when ' Lightning ' is selected for User and Site Options > General > " Lightning role configuration " or " Drawing Editor layout style ."
A context menu configuration can be assigned to a role in Customize Interface . In the example below, a file named my_personal_menus is assigned to the currently selected available role .

Be careful. This utility will allow you to delete a context menu configuration that is currently in use or that is used in multiple roles in one or multiple role configurations . If the context menu configuration is in current use, no warning will be given by the program, although you can continue to use that configuration until you exit the program (e.g., Modeling ).

Step-by-step instructions :

1 . Start the Delete Context Menus utility:

1a : Home > Utilities > Utility Functions > Delete > Delete Context Menus . If prompted to do so, enter the " Utility Password " that has been set up for your network.

2 . A selection dialog appears on the screen. This lists the environments that correspond to the Assembly Editor , Manual Erection View Detailing , and Modeling programs. Each environment contains its own context menu files.

Alternative 1 : Select the name corresponding to the name of the program whose context menu shortcuts you want to delete, then press the " OK " button. Go to step 4.

Alternative 2 : Press " Cancel " to end the Delete Context Menus operation and go back to Utility Functions . Do not continue.

3 . A selection dialog listing the names of all the context menu configuration files appears on screen.

Typing dr to " Find " in this example would automatically select Modeling_Drafter since that context menus is the first one with the character sequence dr in its name.

Alternative 1 : Select one or more context menu configurations that you want to delete, then press the " OK " button. Go to step 4.

Alternative 2 : Press " Cancel " to end the Delete Context Menus operation and go back to Utility Functions . Do not continue.

4 . An ok-cancel dialog opens. It lists the context menus that will be deleted when you press " OK ."

	These context menus have been marked for deletion.
	selected_context menus_xxx selected_context menus_yyy selected_context menus_zzz

Alternative 1 : Press the " OK " button to delete the context menus that you selected. Go to step 5.

Alternative 2 : Press " Cancel " to end the Delete Context Menus operation without deleting any of the context menus. Do not continue.

5 . A dialog opens to report the number of context menu configurations that were deleted. Press " OK " to close this dialog.
