Construction Circle Erase All ( Modeling & Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

  • Construction circles in multi-user Modeling environments are shown per user, which means that only you will see any construction circles that you choose to erase.

   Step-by-step instructions :

The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.

1 . Invoke Construction Circle Erase All using any one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Click the Erase All Construction Circles icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Model -- Construction Circles ' ( Modeling ) or ' Objects -- Construction Circles ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Model > Construction Circles > Erase All . When " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', choose Objects > Construction Circles > Erase All .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Construction Circle Erase All can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

Method 6 : While Construction Circle Mode mouse bindings are active, hold down the Ctrl key and right-click ( Erase All ).

2 . An ok-cancel confirmation dialog opens. On it is the question, "Erase all construction circles? "

Alternative 1 : Press the " OK " button at the bottom of the dialog box to erase all of the construction circles that are on shown layers (not on hidden layers) in your current Drawing Editor drawing file or that exist in your current Modeling view. Go to step 3.

Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to end the Construction Circle Erase All operation and keep everything as it was before step 1. Do not continue.

3 . Your computer screen redraws, and all construction circles disappear. The mouse bindings that were active before you invoked Construction Circle Erase All become active again.

Note: At this point (in the Drawing Editor only) you can Undo to bring back the construction circles you just erased.
