Construction Circle Erase Command

Deletes the construction circles that you select in Modeling and Drawing Editor.

1 . Preselect a construction circle to enable the Layout Circles contextual page and click the Delete icon ( ) found in the Modify section. Skip step 2.

Alternative : Invoke Construction Circle Erase using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the Construction Circle Erase icon, which is pictured above. Proceed to step 2.

2 . Select the construction circle(s).

Method 1 : Right-click and select OK from the shortcut menu.

Method 2 : Press Enter .

Note: At this point (Drawing Editor only) you can bring back the construction circle(s) you deleted by using Undo .

  • Construction Circle Erase can be used to erase one or more construction circles that are on shown layers in a Drawing Editor drawing or that exist in a Modeling view.
  • If you want to preselect construction circles, you need to first set the selection filter to ' Construction Circles ' or ' All '.
  • To select multiple construction circles, draw an area box , or you can hold down Shift and left-click ( Select + ) on each construction circle.
  • When preselected, construction circles can also be erased by pressing Delete .
  • In multi-user Modeling environments, any changes you make to construction circles will be visible to you only. They will be retained in your current Job -- for you only -- across subsequent Modeling sessions.
  • Construction circles can be saved using Construction Line Save and loaded using Construction Line Load (in Modeling only). The saved file can also be shared with another SDS2 user and loaded into that user's Modeling session.
