Change All to Solid Transparent Main ( Modeling )

Tool summary :

  • Changes the display style of potentially all members in your current view to solid transparent main. Members that require solids to be created will not be changed.

    Before (left) and after (right) doing a Change All to Solid Transparent Main .
  • Solid transparent main is a member display style that features transparent member main material and opaque connection material.
  • Change All to Solid Transparent Main changes members in your current view only. Nevertheless, when you Open ( Ctrl + o ) a different view, you will find those same members continue to be displayed in solid transparent main.
  • Before changing the member display style, you may want to turn Depth Checking off (if you want to change more members) or on (if you want to change fewer members).

Step-by-step instructions :

1 . In Modeling , invoke Change All to Solid Transparent Main using any one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Click the Change All to Transparent Main icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' View -- Solids Mode ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose View > Change All to Solid Transparent Main .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Change All to Solid Transparent Main can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

Method 6 : In Solids Mode , hold down the Shift key and left-click ( All TM ).

2 . ALL members in your current view except those that have not yet undergone Create Solids are displayed in solid transparent main form (transparent main material, opaque connection material).

Tip: When you Open ( Ctrl + o ) other views, you will find that members changed to solid transparent main form in your current view are also displayed in solid transparent main form in those other views.
