fabs folder in the SDS2 data directory
- Also see: There is also a fabs folder in your current Job. This documentation is not about that fabs folder. This documentation is about the fabs folder that is maintained in the data directory used by your current version of this program.
- The fabs folder that is used by your current version of this program contains external Fabricators, which are legacy Fabricators that are stored outside of your current Job and originated in pre-v2015.xx versions of SDS2 programs.
- You cannot use external fabricators directly, since they are not in a Job. The information contained in an external Fabricator can, however, be copied into the Fabricator you create when you Home > " Change Active Job " > " New... " or when you create a new Fabricator . Home > Utilities > Utility Functions >Copy > Copy Fabricator Settings can be used to copy values from an external Fabricator or, for that matter, a Fabricator inside of a job. The values are copied to the current Fabricator.
- Other utilities are also available for managing pre-v2015.xx Fabricators. The utility Rename External Fabricator can be used to rename an external Fabricator. The utility Delete External Fabricator can be used to delete an external Fabricator.
