Delete Keyboard Shortcuts

Delete Keyboard Shortcuts is used to delete a keyboard shortcut configuration file from the keyboard_configurations folder found in the SDS2 data directory.
Note: These Keyboard Shortcuts are used when the modeling or drawing editor layout style is set to Lightning.

1 . Select Delete Keyboard Shortcuts in Home > Utilities > Utility Functions > Delete.

2 . The keyboard_configurations folder opens inside of Window's File Explorer. On it is a list of folders (directories) where keyboard shortcuts are stored. Open the folder where the keyboard shortcut is stored, select the keyboard shortcut file(s) you wish to delete, and press Delete.

Note : If the SDS2 data directory is located on your local PC, the deleted file will be placed in your Recycle Bin. If the SDS2 data directory is located on a different PC/server, the file will not be recoverable when the keyboard shortcut is deleted.

  • Delete Keyboard Shortcuts has no effect on ' Classic ' keyboard shortcuts, which reside in the toolbar configuration file .
  • This allows you to delete a keyboard shortcut configuration that is currently in use or that is used in multiple roles in one or multiple role configurations . If the keyboard shortcut configuration is in current use, no warning will be given by the program, although you can continue to use that configuration until you exit the program (e.g., Modeling ).
