Layer Erase
Deletes the active layer from your current drawing. All objects on that layer are also deleted.

1. On the Layer Panel, select the layer that you want to delete.
2. Invoke Layer Erase using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the icon. The layer is erased, and all graphic objects on that layer are deleted. The next highest layer becomes the layer that is selected on the Layer Panel. Save the drawing if you want to keep these changes.
Alternative: Select a layer on the Layer Panel, right-click, and select Layer Erase from the context menu.

Note: You can undo Layer Erase using Revert or Undo. If you Save the drawing, you can no longer Revert, but you can still Undo.
