Arc Erase All ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

  • Automatically deletes all arcs that are on shown layers in your current drawing.
  • In a drawing that is not a crane placement drawing , you can erase arcs only from comment layers . In crane placement drawings, you can erase objects on non-comment layers as well as on comment layers.
  • Shown layers are visible layers (layers marked " Show "). Since Arc Erase All only works on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude arcs that are on those layers from being deleted.
  • The selection of objects that is made prior to using Arc Erase All does not affect the operation of the tool, but the tool does affect the selection. All selected items are automatically deselected as a result of Arc Erase All .
  • To invoke Arc Erase All and delete all arcs that are on shown layers or -- for crane placement drawings -- on shown comment layers:

Method 1 : Click the Arc Erase All icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Arcs ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Arcs > Erase All .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Arc Erase All can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
