Detail Sheets

For detail sheets to exist in your current Job , they must have been created in a full-featured SDS2 program .

Users of a full-featured SDS2 program can use Sheet Item Add to place member details onto detail sheets so that they can Plot the sheets. This capability is not available to users of Site Planning.

Detail sheets are not a drawing type that you can File > Open in the Drawing Editor portion of Site Planning.

You can open a detail sheet, in Modeling , by selecting a member, then invoking Show Sheet . If the member detail of the selected member is on a detail sheet, then that sheet will be shown.

You can use Model > Status Display > Detailing and processing > On sheet to color code members in Modeling whose details have been placed on sheets.

Users of Site Planning can add objects to comment layers on detail sheets using functions such as Add Standard Detail . This might be done to communicate with users of a full-featured SDS2 program (who can view your comments).

You can also access information from detail sheets by outputting various reports. Here is a list of reports that access a sheet's bill of material for information: Bill of Material Plot Order by Sheet , Bill of Material Report 1 by Sheet , Bill of Material Report 2 by Sheet , Bill of Material Report 3 by Sheet , Field Bolts For Members by Seq., Select by Sheet , Field Bolts For Members by Zone, Select by Sheet , EJE Export , Field Bolts Point To Point by Sheet , Field Bolt Listing From Sheet BOM , Field Bolt Summary From Sheet BOM , Material Summary, Select by Sheet , Material Summary by Sequence, Select by Sheet , Material Summary by Zone, Select by Sheet , Shop Bolt Listing From Sheet BOM , Shop Bolt Summary From Sheet BOM .

Also, you can Plot detail sheets or Home > Export > 2D > Export PDF Drawing and select detail sheets.
