  • Check the boxes for the types of materials you want to include in the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size that you are generating. For example, if you are using the report for bent plates only, you should check only the box for " Bent plate ."

If this box is checked ( ), then rectangular plate is selected for inclusion in the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size . All rectangular plates in your current Job will be included in the report, and the header on each page of the report will note that this type of plate is included.

If the box is not checked ( ), rectangular plate will not be included in the report.

Note: A full-featured SDS2 program automatically generates rectangular plates for end plate and shear connections, beam seats , beam splices , column splices , auto base/cap plates , top/bottom moment plates and user base/cap plates . Rectangular plates that users of that program have added are also be included in the report when this box is checked.

If this box is checked ( ), then round plate is selected for inclusion in the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size . All round plates in your current Job will be included in the report, and the header on each page of the report will note that this type of plate is included.

If the box is not checked ( ), round plate will not be included in the report.

Note: In a full-featured SDS2 program , round plates can be added as miscellaneous members or submaterials.

Bent plate: or .

If this box is checked ( ), then single-bend plate is selected for inclusion in the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size . All bent plates in your current Job will be included in the report, and the header of each page of the report will note that this type of plate is included.

If the box is not checked ( ), bent plate will not be included in the report.

Note: A full-featured SDS2 program can automatically generate bent plate for bent plate connections. Bent plates can also be added as miscellaneous members or submaterials by users of such a program.

All rolled plates in your current Job will be included in the report, and the header of each page of the report will note that this type of plate has been included.

To close the Plate Report window :

"OK" closes this window. The Output Configuration window opens so that you can complete the generation of the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size .

After you select (on the Output Configuration window) the location/device to which you want the report to be output, the report is generated, and it will include the plate types that you selected on this window so long as members that incorporate those plate types exist in your current Job and have been detailed.

"Cancel" closes the Plate Report window and cancels the output of the Plate Report by Thickness or Plate Report by Hole Size .

"Reset" undoes all changes made to this window since you first opened it. The window remains open.
