Printing your current drawing under Windows :
Optionally set the User and Site Options > the " Output " tab > " Default for "Print ."
In the Drawing Editor , Open the drawing (of any type) that you want to print.
Method 1 : Click the Print icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' File ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose File > Print .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Print can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
3 . The Windows Print dialog opens.
3a (optional) : You can " Select Printer " to select a different printer to output to. You can change the " Number of copies ." You can click the " Preferences " button to, for example, change from ' Landscape ' to ' Portrait ' or vice-versa. You can " Print to file " if you want to output the drawing as a file.
3b : Press the " Print " button.
4 . Your current drawing is output as you designated in step 3.
If you selected " Print to file " in step 3, an output dialog opens so that you can optionally select a different file folder to output the drawing file to. By default, the dialog is set to User and Site Options > the " Output " tab > " Plot to file directory ."
Your current drawing is printed as it appears on screen. The printed version of the drawing may therefore be different than the last saved or next saved version.
