Load Model Dimensions Command

Adds dimensions that have been stored in a file to your 3D model.

1 . Invoke Load Model Dimensions using one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1: Click the Load Model Dimensions icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be found on the Tools page > Measure section.

Method 2: Load Model Dimensions can also be invoked using the Find Tool by searching the command name.

2 . A File Explorer window opens. Browse to a location where a file containing model dimensions is stored. Double-click that file.

3 . The dimensions are added to your model.

Note: If your current Job is not the Job that the dimensions were created from, they probably won't be relevant when they are loaded into your current Job. The ' Model Dimensions ' selection filter together with Delete can be used to delete dimensions.

  • The dimensions are independent of your current view and are added to your entire project.
  • Only you, the user that loads the dimensions, will see them. Other users who happen to be in the same project will not see them. They will be retained -- also for you only -- across Modeling sessions.
