2 . The Select One Erection View dialog opens. On it is a list of all erection views that have been created. The name of your current view is selected by default.
Double-click the view you want to open or select the view and click the OK button.
Alternatives:
The Cancel button ends the command and keeps your current view open.
The Save As button saves your selected view as a new view with a new name. The same settings of your selected view are applied to the new view.
The Rename button renames your selected view.
The Delete button deletes your selected view. A window appears for your to confirm the deletion of the view. Click Yes to delete the view, or click No to end the command.
A direct alternative to Open View is to double-click the name of a straight grid line associated with a view. Doing so will open that view (grid X in the example below). Your selection filter must be set to Default, Legacy Default, or All for this to work.
The Select one Erection View window appears when you launch Modeling. Alternatively, you can use the Use as default checkbox to skip the Select one Erection View window and open a particular erection view when you launch Modeling.
Toggle the Show for detailing checkbox on the Select One Erection View window to see the erection views that were saved with the For detailing option checked on.
Toggle the Show site planning checkbox on the Select One Erection View window to see the erection views that were saved using the SDS2 Basic edition.
