Step-by-step instructions :
1 . Start Copy Global Concrete Beam Templates to Job using the following method:
Method 1 : Home > Utilities > Utility Functions > Copy Global to Job > Concrete Beam Templates: Copy Global to Job . If prompted to do so, enter the " Utility Password " that has been set up for your network.
2 . A selection dialog opens. On it is a list of the concrete beam templates in the data directory used by your current version of this program.

If there are no concrete beam templates in the data directory, you will be notified of such, and this operation will end without the selection dialog being opened. |
Alternative 1 : Select the names of the templates that you want to copy to your job, then press the " OK " button at the bottom of this selection dialog. Go to step 3.
Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to end the Copy Global Concrete Beam Templates to Job operation. Do not continue.
3 . One of the following happens:
Possibility 1 : An alert dialog opens if any of the concrete beam templates you selected in step 2 reside in your current Job. If you press " Yes " on this dialog, you will overwrite the concrete beam templates with those in your template repository. If you press " No " on this dialog, the Copy Global Concrete Beam Templates to Job operation ends. Do not continue.
One or more of the selected items already exists.
Do you want to overwrite?Tip: When a concrete beam template is overwritten using this utility, you must mark for processing concrete beams that are defined by it (for example, by using the Mark for Processing tool) and Process and Create Solids before the copied template will be applied.
Possibility 2 : None of the templates you selected in step 2 reside in your current job. The templates are copied to your job, and the operation ends.
4 . The global templates selected in step 2 continue to exist in the repository for such templates and copies of those templates are now Job concrete beam templates . You can now apply such a template to concrete beams in your current Job by making it the " Template " selection in the member's edit window.
