Member Erase by Number

Deletes one member in your current view that you select by member number.

1 . Click the Member Erase by Number icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be found on the Members page > Erase section.

Alternative: Invoke Member Erase by Number using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the icon, which is pictured above.

2 . A selection dialog opens. On it is a list of all member numbers that have been assigned to members. Double-click the number of the member you want to erase.

Alternative: Press Esc or click Cancel to end the command without erasing any members.

3 . The status line prompts, "Erase this member?" Left-click (Yes) to erase the member and end the command.

Alternative 1: Right-click (No) to end the command without erasing the selected member.

Alternative 2: An alert window appears explaining the member you selected was not found (in the current view). This member is not erased and the command ends when you press Enter or click OK.

  • Another way to erase members is to select the member(s) and press Delete or use the generic Delete command found on the Members contextual page > Modify section.
  • The member number of a member that you erase will not be used again by another member until you use the Release Deleted Members utility. Until you Release Deleted Members, you can recover the member using Member Undelete. After Release Deleted Members, the member number may be reassigned to a new member as it is Added.
