Pin Erase

Unpins selected member ends.

1 . Preselect a Member End to enable the Member Ends contextual page and click the Delete icon ( ) found in the Modify section.

Alternative: Invoke Pin Erase using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the icon, which is pictured above.

2 . The Continue window opens asking, "Are you sure you want to delete this/these item(s)?" along with the number of member pins that will be erased. Click Yes to erase the member pins and close the window.

Alternative 1: Click No to close the window without erasing the member pins.

Alternative 2: If you did not preselect one or more member ends, the status line prompts, "Pin Erase: Select member ends". Select one or more member ends and press Enter or right-click and select OK. The member pins are erased without the Continue window prompt.

  • In the Display Options window, check the boxes ( ) for Member ends always displayed and Member lines. If Member ends always displayed is unchecked ( ), the ends can still be selected for erasing by hovering over them with your mouse cursor or with an area box.
  • You can also erase member pins by selecting them and pressing Delete .
  • The color of the member end changes according to Member Pins setup. Different colors are set for System pins, User pins, and Disabled pins.
