Introduction :

An SDS2 review station lets you double-check the 3D model and Drawing Editor drawings in your current Job . As you do this, you can optionally make comments or write instructions that can be reviewed and acted on by users of a full-featured SDS2 program that are in that same Job. You can also approve drawings and schedule shop and shipping activities.

Making comments on drawings/sheets :

Before making comments to a drawing or sheet, establish appropriate communications that will help you to determine what drawings or sheets should be reviewed. For example, you may wish to review those drawings or sheets on which " Submitted for approval " date has been set.

While you are reviewing drawings in the Drawing Editor , you can optionally add any of the following types of graphic objects to those drawings: arcs , bevel symbols , bolts , circles , clouds , dimensions , 2D holes , labels , lines , pointers , weld symbols , materials . To add written instructions or comments, use Label Add .

Before performing an Add operation to place any of the above-listed graphic object types onto a drawing or sheet, you need to select the comment layer that you want to add the graphic objects to. This selection is made on the layer selection tool , You cannot add objects to non-comment layers in an SDS2 review station .

Tip: If you have a repeated group of graphics (for example, a pointer with a graphic and instructions) that you want to add to the comment layers of different drawings over and over again, use Area Save to make a copy of that group of graphics, then use Add Standard Detail to place the graphics.
