Add to Selection ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

• Selects one or more items that are not currently selected.
• Add to Selection allows you to make a single selection by clicking an object or drawing an area box around multiple objects.
• Alternatively, while in Select Items mode, you can hold down the Shift key and left-click ( Select + ) a selected object to accomplish the same. Unlike using Add to Selection , this selection mode allows you select multiple objects with a lasso selection and to make multiple selections.
• To invoke Add to Selection :

▸ Click the Add to Selection icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Selection ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on the ribbon.

▸ Add to Selection can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .
