Pan Left ( Modeling )

Tool summary :

Click the icon to scroll left within a tile . The display within that tile is nudged to the right.
Pan Left does not rotate your view or change how closely you are zoomed into your view, but simply shifts the imaginary camera to the left so that items within a tile (window) move to the right.
If a particular tile is active , Pan Left operates on that tile.
Pan Left is most useful when invoked via a keyboard shortcut or mode. You'll likely find it to be more useful for navigation when using a tablet as opposed to a PC. See the step-by-step instructions .

Step-by-step instructions :

1 . Invoke Pan Left using one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Click the Pan Left icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Navigate -- Navigation Mode ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Navigate > Pan Left .

Method 3 or 4 (most useful) : Pan Left can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

2 . One of the following happens:

Possibility 1 : If you invoked Pan Left using method 1 or method 2, the display is nudged to the right one time.

Possibility 2 (most useful) : If you used a keyboard shortcut (method 3), the display shifts continuously toward the right until you release the key you are pressing on your keyboard.
