Deselect Objects ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

• Deselects one or more items that are currently selected.
• Deselect Objects allows you to make a single deselection by clicking an object or drawing an area box around multiple objects.
• Alternatively, while in Select Items mode, you can hold down the Ctrl key and left-click ( Select - ) a selected object to accomplish the same. Unlike using Deselect Objects , this selection mode allows you deselect multiple objects with a lasso selection and to make multiple deselections.
• To invoke Deselect Objects :

Method 1 : Click the Deselect Objects icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Selection ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2, 3 or 4 : Deselect Objects can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .
